🧳 Never Have A "Kevin" Moment

Taking a trip is a lot of planning, organizing, thinking, you name it. It's basically a sport and taking one with kids, it's like getting a gold medal from the Olympics. It's parenting at a higher level, making sure everyone has what they need, are fed, and oh yeah has fun.

Spring break was upon us this past week and we went to the beach. If you've ever taken a trip to the beach there's no way around your car being packed to the brim, everything has to come.

The past few trips I haven't used a packing list because it seemed like too much work (more on that in a minute). This packing list I've been using for years, I do really love, its extensive and you don't forget anything. Plus, it's a tear away notepad so you don't have print copies or use your phone.

Now you might be thinking how can using a packing list be too much work? Enter the ADHD brain. The list as wonderful and magical as it is, is overwhelming. There are a lot of words just staring at you and the list doesn't get fully used because it's geared for all seasons so part of me feels like it's wasteful only using half of it.

That being said, using it really does help and we didn't forget anything on this trip. There was no feeling of "I think I forgot something" or actually forgetting someone like Kevin.

Nobody wants to have a miserable trip, when you are organized, everything just runs smoother.

Simplehuman Sale Is Coming!

One of my favorite brands, simplehuman will be on sale soon! This brand hardly ever goes on sale and this weekend from Saturday 4/6- Monday 4/8 it will be on sale.

Until I started using this brand, I never realized It's the littlest things that make the biggest difference. For example a sensor trash can, who knew saying "open can" or waving my hand in front of it would really make that big of an impact but it does.

Recently, I've been OBSESSED with the paper towel pump. Again, never thought having the spray bottle in the paper towel holder would make that big of a difference but it has, it's one less step of getting the cleaner from a different location.

The wild month of May. It’s like riding a rollercoaster, your up, down, and holding on for dear life. It really is the December of the first half of the year. The end of the school year has all the schedules turned upside down with class parties, concerts, themed weeks, sport schedules and games, what else am I forgetting?! πŸ˜‰ We've been knee deep in some pretty big moves here in Charlotte. Moving is a HUGE undertaking. We personally have moved a handful of times and as someone who loves being...

Last week I hopped on the Peloton to start a workout. For whatever reason, the bike was not syncing to the internet. I did the routine turn off and turn on the machine, plus unplugged it. Did this a few times and nothing worked. At this point, I'm close to 10-minutes into my workout time and haven't started a thing. I knew calling tech support was the next step but didn't have the time or patience to deal with it so I finally decided to do my own workout. As someone who grew up playing sports...

Two weekends ago, we were at the baseball fields (shocking) and our oldest was looking for something to eat. If you have ever been in the baseball world, you know it's a full day event. When we leave in the morning, you'd think we were packing for a weekend trip. There are the chairs, the wagon, the scooters, dolls and activities for the girls and of course the cooler full of snacks and food for the day. Baseball games have the "snack shack" that I loathe. It's full of candy and all of the...
