β˜”οΈ April Showers Bring...Closet Organization

It's time for the annual swap, see ya later sweaters and hello tanks!

I love this time of year, it's like shopping at the store without going to one, seeing the clothes that I forgot I had.

This is exactly why I like to change out clothes. It makes them "new" again and I'm excited to wear the items that haven't been seen in what feels like forever 😎

Summer and winter clothing items are completely different from each other. One season requires more fabric while the other needs less.

This definitely has an impact on your closet especially if you change them throughout the year as it affects the system. The amount of sweaters that fit in a bin is different than the number of tank tops that can fit in one.

This is exactly why organizing isn't a one and done project, it's a practice. Things change, seasons change and when they do we have to make the necessary adjustments or we'll get lost in the shuffle and that's when things start to unravel.

Change is something many people don't like, we like predictable and knowing the outcome. When things change, it takes us out of our routines and makes us uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable whether we like it or not is where we grow. It's where we learn more about ourselves and tap into our greatness.

Use this season of change to recharge, reset, and refresh your closet.

The wild month of May. It’s like riding a rollercoaster, your up, down, and holding on for dear life. It really is the December of the first half of the year. The end of the school year has all the schedules turned upside down with class parties, concerts, themed weeks, sport schedules and games, what else am I forgetting?! πŸ˜‰ We've been knee deep in some pretty big moves here in Charlotte. Moving is a HUGE undertaking. We personally have moved a handful of times and as someone who loves being...

Last week I hopped on the Peloton to start a workout. For whatever reason, the bike was not syncing to the internet. I did the routine turn off and turn on the machine, plus unplugged it. Did this a few times and nothing worked. At this point, I'm close to 10-minutes into my workout time and haven't started a thing. I knew calling tech support was the next step but didn't have the time or patience to deal with it so I finally decided to do my own workout. As someone who grew up playing sports...

Two weekends ago, we were at the baseball fields (shocking) and our oldest was looking for something to eat. If you have ever been in the baseball world, you know it's a full day event. When we leave in the morning, you'd think we were packing for a weekend trip. There are the chairs, the wagon, the scooters, dolls and activities for the girls and of course the cooler full of snacks and food for the day. Baseball games have the "snack shack" that I loathe. It's full of candy and all of the...
